Kona Land and Water Escapes was founded by Lenny Clark in 1970. Kona has been an industry leader for over 40 years. Look at the link above (“Featured In”), for just a few of the accolades that Kona Land and Water Escapes has received - from “Best of Tempe” to newspaper and magazine articles, television and radio. From the Tropics to the Sonoran Desert, we create environments.
Clark’s vision of creating special environments for his clients was fostered at Arizona State University, where he was a student of Business and Asian Studies. On his many trips to the Far East, Clark was struck by the importance placed upon landscaping. Whether large or small, a special place where one can be close to, and a part of nature.
Clark creates “special places” for his clients to enjoy. And whether the theme is Xeriscape, Tropical, Asian, or a combination, Clark’s personal involvement will turn dreams into reality. Nearly all work is done by Kona’s in-house technicians and artisans. Although unique and functional design is our passion, outstanding customer service is our number one priority. There are maintenance companies who “blow and go.” Kona does much, much more. In addition to regular maintenance, Kona’s horticultural background insures our dedicated maintenance crews are knowledgeable and careful to add beauty and value to your environment. Kona maintains the paradise you envision.
Lenny Clark and the entire Kona team look forward to creating and maintaining your dream landscaping environment.
